Letreros: Matrículas alemanas | German number plates

Algunas palabras y expresiones inglesas se han introducido ya en casi todos los idiomas: «ok», «baby», «fashion», «come on», «no problem»... Y, sí, esa que todos sabemos también ;o)

Un ejemplo en Fürth (Alemania):

Nota: en Alemania está prohibido utilizar varias combinaciones de letras que se podrían considerar inaceptables desde el punto de vista político, pero, curiosamente, parece que las insultantes no (más información en la Wikipedia en inglés).

Note: various letter combinations that could be considered politically unacceptable are banned in Germany, but, strangely enough, it seems that insulting ones are allowed (more information on Wikipedia).

«Babelizar» [lo siento, la palabra es tan nueva que no aparece en el nuevo diccionario de la RAE] significa traducir de forma automática un texto a otro idioma, retraducirlo de nuevo a la lengua origen, otra vez al primer idioma, otra vez a la lengua origen... hasta que se haya extraído hasta la última gota del significado original [definición de Margaret Marks en Transblawg].

Babelizing means machine translating a text into one language, then back into English, then into another language, then back into English, and so on, until the meaning has been wrung out of it [Margaret Marks' definition at Transblawg.]
